AbstractAbstract
[en] The shell structure of superheavy nuclei is investigated within various parametrizations of relativistic and nonrelativistic nuclear mean-field models. The heaviest known even-even nucleus 156264Hs108 is used as a benchmark to estimate the predictive value of the models. From that starting point, doubly magic spherical nuclei are searched in the region Z=110-140 and N=134 endash 298. They are found at (Z=114,N=184), (Z=120,N=172), orat (Z=126,N=184), depending on the parametrization. copyright 1997 The American Physical Society

AbstractAbstract
[en] The wavefunctions are decomposed into components. The inherent nodal structure and the stability of these components are investigated. It is assumed that the low-lying states would be dominated by the components without inherent nodal surfaces. Based on this assumption, the composition of the wave functions of the low-lying states of 5He has been suggested and the qualitative feature of the spectrum has been explained

AbstractAbstract
[en] We have determined the spectroscopic quadrupole moment of two high-spin isomers (I=11 ℎ and I=32 ℎ) which have recently been identified in the doubly-odd 214Fr nucleus. The data have been extracted from a series of former level mixing spectroscopy (LEMS) measurements which had been performed to measure quadrupole moments of high-spin isomers in 211,212,213Fr isotopes. The quadrupole frequencies were measured in natural and enriched poly- and single-crystalline T1 at different temperatures
