AbstractAbstract
[en] A theoretical and experimental program is underway to determine the feasibility of a measurement of the neutron-neutron scattering cross section of 10 to 12% uncertainty using small-angle, low center-of-mass energy, colliding neutron beams derived from a fusion-fission nuclear source. The neutron-neutron scattering length would be inferred from the measured cross sections. The general concept of the experiments and progress are discussed

AbstractAbstract
[en] The concept of geometrical scaling for high-energy elastic hadron scattering is analyzed and its basic equations are solved in a consistent way. It is shown that they are applicable to a rather small interval of momentum transfers, e.g., maximally for Vertical BartVertical Bar< or approx. =0.15 GeV2 for pp scattering at CERN ISR energies (√s = 30--63 GeV)

AbstractAbstract
[en] Starting from the experimental fact that the angular distribution of black evaporation prongs in the p-nucleus interactions is symmetrical, the number of recoil nucleons may be related with the number of collisions ν. Since a rigorous separation of the black evaporation prongs (Nsub(b)) is difficult to achieve, the angular distribution of black and grey prongs (Nsub(h)) was measured in about 7000 interactions of protons of 10 GeV with emulsion nuclei, being established a relation of dependence between the mean number of collisions ν and the anisotropy of angular distribution of slow particles at fixed Nsub(h).
