AbstractAbstract
[en] High-temperature interaction of the compounds of CdTiO3 and InFeO3 (where Ln stands for La-Lu), taken in the ratio of 2:1, was investigated. It is established that when REE are represented by ions from La to Sm, individual homogeneous phases isostructural with calcium titanate (rhombic syngony, Pbnm) are formed. If Er, Yb, or Lu ferrites are used in combination with cadmium titanate, high-temperature interaction results in the formation of homogeneous phases, isostructural CdTiO3 (monoclinic syngony). The products of heat treatment of compositions containing Cd, Dy, or Ho orthoferrites are represented by a mixture of the initial components or solid solutions based on them

[en] Vibration spectra of rare earth titanates with pyrochlore structure were investigated. Theoretical calculation of spectra obtained was performed by the method of polymer chains in valent-force approximation. The referral of frequencies was suggested. The correlation of calculated force fields with publication data on other pyrochlore groups, as well as compounds, containing titanium with coordination number of less, than 6, was conducted

[en] The transformation of microstructure in nonstoichiometric titanium carbide is studied for two limiting cases: on hot deformation with high strain rates and low percentage reduction (deformation under shock wave loading) and with low strain rates and high percentage reduction (deformation under conditions of superplasticity). The basic possibility to control structure formation in titanium carbide on hot deformation in a wide range of strain rates is shown. It is revealed that from initial titanium carbides by varying deformation conditions final materials different in structure and chemical composition can be obtained, in particular, the materials can possess equilibrium and nonequilibrium structures with various physicomechanical properties

Исследована трансформация микроструктуры карбида титана нестехиометрического состава в двух предельных случаях: при горячем деформировании с высокими скоростями и малыми степенями деформации (деформирование при ударно-волновом нагружении) и с малыми скоростями и большими степенями деформации (деформация в режиме сверхпластичности). Показана принципиальная возможность управления структурообразованием карбида титана при его горячей деформации в широком интервале скоростей деформации. Установлено, что из исходного карбида титана, изменяя условия деформации, можно получить разные по структуре и химическому составу конечные материалы, в частности, с равновесной и неравновесной структурой, обладающие различными физико-механическими свойствамиOriginal Title

AbstractAbstract
[en] This paper presents a feasibility study for a thick-film (TF) piezoelectric actuator acting as a flexible part of a ceramic micro-valve. The initial design was primarily based on trial and error, which is a time-consuming and expensive procedure. To reduce the amount of experimentation a simulation-based analysis for predicting the structural properties and showing the trends was also performed. Three elementary bending-type actuators, i.e., cantilever-, bridge- and diaphragm-type actuators were analysed using a commercial finite element (FE) package. By revealing the trends the FE analyses facilitated decisions in the early designing phase and suggested possible modifications to the initial design concept. (author)
