AbstractAbstract
[en] The MiniBooNE experiment at Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory recently updated a search for ν-bare appearing in an ν-barμ beam to include higher statistics. Previous results were published with a total of 3.39x1020 protons on target (POT) [A.A. Aguilar-Arevalo, et al., Phys. Rev. Lett. 103 (2009) 111801, (arXiv:0904.1958)], while these results have been expanded to include a total of 5.66x1020 POT [A.A. Aguilar-Arevalo, et al., Phys. Rev. Lett. 105 (2010) 181801, (arXiv:1007.1150)]. An excess of 20.9±14.0 events is observed in the energy range from 475< EνQE cance of the excess peaking at 25.7±7.2 in the lowest two energy bins 475-675MeV. The consistency with the background-only hypothesis in the 475-1250MeV region is 0.5%, after constraints from the measured ν-barμ spectrum have been applied. A fit to a 2ν-mixing hypothesis yields a best-fit point at (Δm2,sin22θ)=(0.064eV2,0.96), although the 1σ allowed region encompasses a range of Δm2 values up to 1eV2 at reduced values of sin22θ. After Feldman-Cousins corrections [G. Feldman, R. Cousins, Phys. Rev. D 57 (1998) 3873-3889, (arXiv:physics/9711021)], it is found that the best-fit is preferred at a 99.4% C.L. over a background-only hypothesis, with an absolute goodness-of-fit of 8.7%

AbstractAbstract
[en] MiniBooNE began running in antineutrino mode on 19 January, 2006. We describe the sensitivity of MiniBooNE to LSND-like (bar ν)e oscillations and outline a program of antineutrino cross-section measurements necessary for the next generation of neutrino oscillation experiments. We describe three independent methods of constraining wrong-sign (neutrino) backgrounds in an antineutrino beam, and their application to the MiniBooNE antineutrino analyses

AbstractAbstract
[en] The counting rates of events in the ν-tildee+p → e++n reaction at the distance of 18-25 m from reactor are determined. Intensity drop with the distance within statistics (31.6 thous. of detected ν-tildee) agrees with the one expected in geometry. In two-state model restrictions to Pontekorvo oscillation parameters are found. The results are compared with those of French group informed on deviation from geometry in the similar experiment at 13.6 and 18.3 distance from the reactor

AbstractAbstract
[en] Discussed is the problem of deviation between experimental cross section average σsub(exp) of the anti νsub(e) + p → n + e+ reaction measured by Nezrick and Reines, and a theoretical cross section average σsub(theor) calculated on the basis of recent data. The usage of the data disturbs a good coincidence of average σsub(exp) and average σsub(theor), their difference exceeding two experimental errors. The above fact may be explained by statistical fluctuations or by methodological errors not taken into account. Accumulation of 239Pu in the reactor and existence of neutrino oscillations are considered as physical reasons leading to the reduction of average σsub(exp)

AbstractAbstract
[en] Electron antineutrino-electron scattering is modified in the presence of neutrino mixing and neutrino oscillation. In the Weinberg-Salam model the results for reactor antineutrinos are insensitive to the degree of mixing, to the extent that the experiment of Reines, Gurr and Sobel cannot differentiate between no oscillation and complete disappearance of the electron antineutrinos from the beam

AbstractAbstract
[en] The spectrum of positrons from the reaction antiνe + p #-> # e+ = n was measured at three distances, 37.9, 45.9 and 64.7, from the core of the Goesgen reactor. These data were analyzed in terms of neutrino oscillations of the type antiνe ↔ X. No evidence for neutrino oscillations was found. In particular the oscillation parameter region favoured by an experiment at the Bugey reactor is not supported by the data presented here. 9 refs
