AbstractAbstract
[en] An alternative approach to the search for doubly-charged negative ions is proposed. It involves the use of singly-charged negative ions of positron emitters for possible production of doubly-charged negative ions. Accelerators and ion traps are considered for use in the search. (orig.)

AbstractAbstract
[en] The nuclide 69Kr with Tz=-3/2, A=4n+1 produced in the 40Ca(32S,3n) reaction has been observed via β-delayed proton emission by using pulsed-beam technique. A single proton group at a laboratory energy of 4.07±0.05 MeV with half-life of 32±10 ms was observed for the first time, corresponding to decay of the T=3/2 isobaric analog state in 69Br to the ground state of 68Se. Combining this result with a Coulomb displacement energy calculation yields a mass excess for 69Kr of -32.15±0.30 MeV. The partial decay scheme of 69Kr is proposed. copyright 1997 The American Physical Society

AbstractAbstract
[en] The aim of this work was in continuation of our earlier investigations to extend the α decay systematics with improved detector system and analysis procedure. Eleven new α emitters could be identified. Six new β emitters with N = 82 and N = 83, respectively, could be observed indirectly by α-(β-)α correlations. (orig.)

AbstractAbstract
[en] In this paper it shall be tried to strike the balance after the first years of experimenting at the on-line mass separator of the GSI Darmstadt and to present the main results of the study of very neutron deficient isotopes in the mass range 90-150 as well as the resulting questions for further experiments. First some foundations concerning the properties of neutron deficient nuclei and the measuring method are explained. The results and their interpretation are discussed using examples for the alpha decay, the beta decay, the mass-energy-area, and the proton-drip line. Finally the obtained results are summarized, and an outlook to further studies of nuclear properties far from beta stability is given. (orig.)
