AbstractAbstract
[en] Measurement of growing bubbles in a superheated liquid, having diameters in the 100 μm range, were performed on photos taken in bright-field illumination with two different magnification optics and by an innovative holographic technique. The bubble tracks had been recorded during a neutrino experiment within a volume of ∼1.5 m3 in the 15-foot bubble chamber at the Fermilab Tevatron. Three methods for the evaluation of the bubble sizes were applied for the classical photography. They are compared with each other and with measurements on holography replay devices

AbstractAbstract
[en] The nature of vapour bubble shape stability is calculated on the basis of application of pressure distribution obtained around the vapour bubble growing in a boiling liquid. Stability regions of the vapour bubble shape, determined by a bubble size and by the values of dynamic characteristics of bubble growth, have been found

AbstractAbstract
[en] The results of experimental and theoretical studies on particle track formation in a liquid hydrogen chamber in an ultrasonic field are presented. Various fenomena characteristing the vapor volume dynamics are considered. The starting phase and surface tension effects on the dynamics of an nucleus bubble are studied. The cavitation and the diffusion thresholds are determined

AbstractAbstract
[en] Stability of a bubble nucleus in an isothermal liquid and effects of non-condensable gas are investigated theoretically. A new nucleation criterion is established on the basis of the stability and quasistability criteria and the premise that nucleation and flooding occur when the state of the bubble nucleus changes from stable (or quasi-stable) to unstable. The proposed nucleation criterion, in contrast with the existing one, distinguishes boiling from bubbling. (author)

AbstractAbstract
[en] A mechanism is suggested allowing to understand the observed suppression of small gas bubble diffusion mobility in solids. On its basis an expression for the radius dependence of the gas bubble diffusion coefficient is obtained. For small gas bubbles this expression agrees with the values of bubble diffusion coefficients obtained in experiments on copper, gold, and uranium dioxide. For larger bubbles it transforms into the known expression which varies inversely as the fourth power of the radius. (author)

AbstractAbstract
[en] Parameters of acoustic radiation of a proton under its passage through the bubble chamber liquid are calculated. Cases of complete and partial thermalization of the proton kinetic energy are considered. It is shown that to hear the noise of the accelerated protons one should locate a piezoceramic hydrophone in the bubble chamber. To receive information about the particles from this sound it is necessary to thoroughly select the chamber operating mode and calibrate it by particles with certain energy
