AbstractAbstract
[en] The decoupled νi13/2 bandhead energies and deformations of odd-N nuclei with Z=56--64 and N=69--77 have been calculated systematically with the newly modified Nilsson parameters. The results show that the occupation of the low-K νi13/2 orbitals does favor large deformation. Possible candidates for the experimental observation of such structures are discussed. The strong β-driving effect of those orbitals at higher frequency is examined as well

AbstractAbstract
[en] We discuss some aspects of the approach of the mass parameters by means of the simple cranking model. In particular, it is well known that the numerical application of this formula is often subject to ambiguities or contradictions. It is found that these problems are induced by the presence of two derivatives in the formula. To overcome these problems, we develop here a number of simple arguments which tend to justify the removal of these terms. As soon as this is done, the formula becomes simpler and easier to interpret. In this respect, it is shown how the shell effects affect precisely the mass parameters. A number of numerical tests help us in our conclusions. (author)

[en] It is shown that, in general, the current flow for a single particle in quantum mechanics exhibits circulations. These circulations are studied in detail for the anisotropic oscillator system in a slowly rotating frame. (author)

AbstractAbstract
[en] A nuclear rotation model with the constraint condition, which is quadratic in the momentum, is considered. It is shown that in the even nuclei it provides the correct moment of inertia. For odd nuclei and not too large angular momenta an approximate form of this model is obtained. A comparison with the standard cranking model and particle-plus-rotor model is performed

AbstractAbstract
[en] Progresses of the chirality in atomic nuclei are reviewed, in particular, the recently proposed collective Hamiltonian based on tilted axis cranking approach to describe chiral vibration and rotation modes, and the experimental achievements for chirality and multiple chiral doublets, i.e., in 106Ag, 133Ce and 103Rh. The first experimental evidences of multiple chiral doublet bands with distinct and identical configuration found in 133Ce and 103Rh are discussed in detail. (author)
