[en] The present progress report on Nuclear Data Activities in India covers the work carried out during the period from July 1992 to March 1995. It contains brief description on various activities such as measurements, evaluations, compilations, processing of nuclear data, validation of nuclear data through experimental analysis and other related works being carried out in India, at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Bombay and at Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research, Kalpakkam. The report gives extended abstracts of the work carried out mainly in the above-mentioned two centres. (author). Refs, figs, tabs

AbstractAbstract
[en] Experimental data are not suitable for direct processing by computer codes. Data must be compiled in order to be compared, normalized, amended; gaps should be filled, differential data supplied. Evaluated data are given in a consistent computer readable format so as to facilitate the checking, the plotting, the comparison with the experimental source of the data. Processing codes have been developed for producing working libraries from the different sources. EXFOR is a complementary and essential tool for evaluators. It consists of a collection of experimental data in computer readable format. (R.P.)

AbstractAbstract
[en] All initial steps for the creation of a relational database, named FALCAO, to support the storing of the monitored variables in the IEA-R1 research reactor, located in the IPEN - Brazilian Institute of Nuclear and Energy Research, are introduced. As introduction, it is considered the modelling importance of the logic diagram and its direct influence in the integrity of the provided information. It is presented the concepts and steps of normalization and de normalization including the entities and relations involved in the logical model. It is also presented the effects of the model rules in the acquisition, loading and availability of the final information, under the performance concept, since the acquisition process, loads and provides lots of information in small intervals of time The data logical model, considering the desired performance and the sharing information is also presented. AbstractAbstract
[en] The production and transmission of correlation in the evaluation processing of fission yield data, including average with weight, ratio and sum consistence adjusting, are researched. The variation of the averaged and adjusted yields and/or rations with the correlation coefficient of the input data are investigated. The results obtained are reasonable in physics

AbstractAbstract
[en] Consumers represent today a significant source of information to learn about products and services quality thanks to the proliferation of user-generated content in the form of online reviews. It is thus of paramount to understand what makes online reviews helpful to consumers as this evaluation might affect their purchase decisions. In this regard, this research has applied textmining techniques by extracting the characteristics from online reviews' texts of an eWOM community, and further utilized these characteristics to train a logistic classifier using three classes: helpful, neutral and not helpful. The aim is identifying which unique attributes determine whether an online review is helpful or not. Findings reveal that there are much more unique attributes classified as helpful than attributes classified as not helpful. Additionally, the unique attributes associated to helpful reviews exhibit more objective appraisal while those associated to not helpful reviews show more subjective appraisal. The proposed methodology can be used to predict the helpfulness of posted reviews and to obtain their unique attributes. Keywords: Text mining; unique attributes; objective and subjective appraisal; eWOM communities

AbstractAbstract
[en] The first compilation of radionuclides appeared just 2 yr before Fermi invented the nuclear reactor. In the five decades since Livingood and Seaborg published edition one of the Table of Isotopes, their successors at Berkeley, the National Academy of Sciences and, later, Oak Ridge, Brookhaven, and other US and foreign laboratories have continued to evaluate and summarize nuclear data as an aid to students, researchers, and practitioners who study the nucleus or who use radioisotopes and nuclear radiations in a wide range of technologies, medicine, and basic and applied sciences. As the nature and quantity of the underlying data and their applications changed, the methods of manipulating and disseminating the data have evolved. Recent developments in computing are the basis for dramatic improvements in the accessibility and useability of nuclear data. The challenge is to provide software with which the clever end-user can discover new science and technology that are buried in the large and growing body of data

AbstractAbstract
[en] The Reactor TRIGA PUSPATI (RTP) at Malaysia Nuclear Agency is a TRIGA Mark II type reactor and pool type cooled by natural circulation of light water. This paper describes on big data analytic for reactor performance of operational, safety and non-safety RTP parameters based on log power, linear power, period, Fuel and coolant temperature, seismic activity and reactivity parameter with using safety and non-safety instrumentation system and wide-range neutron measurement system(WR-NMS). Methodology of Big data analytic is to evaluate and analysis of continuous component monitoring which provides early detection of failure in reactor safety and control. Reactor Operational, safety and non-safety system will use to estimate power measurement, radiation dose, reactor period, seismic activity and others during reactor operation and non-operation. This study also focuses on noise fluctuation from fission chamber during reactor operation. This work will present result of big data analytic from RTP which indicated the safety parameter identification and initiate safety action on crossing the threshold set point trip. Concluded that optimization Reactor operational, safety and non-safety will have improved the reactor control and safety parameter of reactor during operation and non-operation. (author)
