AbstractAbstract
[en] For the last years an intensive study of polarization phenomena in high energy spin physics was carried out at the Dubna 10 GeV accelerator using polarized deuteron beam. The commissioning of the new superconducting accelerator NUCLOTRON supposes to continue the polarization program. A short review of the source of polarized deuterons POLARIS at the Laboratory of High Energies (JINR) is presented. (author)

AbstractAbstract
[en] The results of measurements and handling procedure of data on the tensor polarization of the deuteron beam arising as the beam passes through matter obtained at Nuclotron during June 2008 run using an extracted unpolarized 5 GeV/c deuteron beam are described. The effect observed is compared with calculations made in the framework of the Glauber multiple scattering theory

AbstractAbstract
[en] Non-equilibrium deuteron spectra have been calculated using a new approach based on the hybrid exciton model for reactions induced by intermediate energy nucleons. The coalescence pick-up model was used to describe the pre-equilibrium deuteron emission. Contribution of the direct processes to deuteron emission was calculated on the basis of a suggested phenomenological approach. (orig.)

AbstractAbstract
[en] We present measurements of differential cross sections and analyzing powers for the elastic H(d, d)d scattering process. The data were obtained using a 130 MeV polarized deuteron beam. Cross sections and spin observables of the elastic scattering process were measured at the AGOR facility at KVI using two independent setups, namely BINA and BBS. The data harvest at setups are in excellent agreement with each other and allowed us to carry out a thorough systematic analysis to provide the most accurate data in elastic deuteron-deuteron scattering at intermediate energies. The results can be used to confront upcoming state-of-the-art calculations in the four-nucleon scattering domain, and will, thereby, provide further insights in the dynamics of three- and four-nucleon forces in few-nucleon systems.

AbstractAbstract
[en] We have studied the mechanisms influencing production of cumulative pions and protons in the fragmentation of the incident deuterons into cumulative pions and protons emitted at zero angle. We argue that the peripheral dependence on the atomic mass of the target nucleus, which was obtained in the experiments for medium and heavy nuclei, can be explained by scattering on target nucleons without introducing additional parameters

AbstractAbstract
[en] We measured the polarization-transfer coefficient Kyy' of the fusion reaction 2H(d→,p→)3H at Ed=58 keV at the laboratory reaction angle θ=45 deg. The result is compared with theoretical predictions based on Faddeev-Yakubovsky equations, calculated with and without inclusion of the Coulomb interaction, and a prediction based on a T-matrix parametrization of all available data of this reaction at energies below 500 keV
