[en] The generation of facility 'as built' engineering drawings can be a significant problem in planning D and D projects. This is particularly the case when the facility has been abandoned for some time, undocumented changes in configurations have occurred, or the facility has been used to store excess material from another facility. These conditions are further compounded when the facility is known, or suspected, to contain hazardous conditions that could endanger personnel. The Savannah River Site conducted a project to address these issues through the robotic deployment of a scanning system that produces volumetric representations of facility spaces and contents. High resolution laser imaging of complex structural and equipment configurations was conducted using a robotically deployed system at the P Reactor. The test objective was to demonstrate the capability for generating high quality volumetric data using a remote controlled deployment and data acquisition system that would be capable of entering spaces deemed too hazardous for initial human entry. A commercially available sensor and robotic platform were paired to conduct characterization of a complex configuration of piping and equipment in a sub-grade portion of the reactor building. Laser image data sets produced point cloud images that were processed and loaded into a CAD package for further analysis. Such automated systems are capable of providing engineering quality drawings of facility 'as found' conditions that support the planning of D and D projects, as well as provide accurate representations of 'as left' conditions when facilities are closed. PET and PET-CT can change and improve oncology integration therapy plan and the aim of radiotherapy plan, can make radiotherapy target volume more exact and reduce the observer variation in drawing the target volume, which can reduce target volume bias. [en] The invention relates to a method of treating a metal comprising at least 95 percent zirconium and also comprising at least one constituent selected from the class consisting of chromium, tin, niobium, iron, tantalum, nickel and aluminum, which metal is in a thoroughly annealed condition, said method comprising subjecting said metal to a tensile creep strain of 3 to 10 percent while holding it in a temperature range in which creep will occur, yet which is below the temperature for significant recovery, said tensile creep strain being attained by tensile loading said metal at a strain rate of about 0.001 to 0.01 inch/inch/minute until said strain is attained, followed by holding said metal at the final load for at least 15 minutes. [en] An apparatus for sealing or blocking conduits, such as the primary nozzles of a nuclear steam generator is described. It includes an annular bracket sealingly attached to the open end of the nozzle, the bracket having a plurality of threaded holes therein. Mounted atop the bracket is a generally circular nozzle dam for covering the opening. Interposed between the nozzle dam and the bracket is an extrusion-resistant seal member having a plurality of apertures therethrough for receiving each bolt. The seal member is configured to resist extrusion by having laminated layers of differing hardnesses, so that the seal member will not laterally extrude away from each bolt in a manner that enlarges the aperture surrounding each bolt as the nozzle dam is bolted to the bracket. [en] The International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER) Project requires a set of buildings, each with its own distinct function, to support ITER's mission. The Joint Central Team (JCT) has identified all the buildings in the set and has placed them in an efficient arrangement on the site. The JCT has developed a conceptual layout of each individual building. The buildings have been categorized into two main groups: (1) open-quotes Level 1 Buildingsclose quotes which are on the construction schedule critical path and (2) open-quotes Level 2 Buildingsclose quotes which, while important, are not on the critical path. The buildings are further categorized according to construction material, that is, open-quotes reinforced concreteclose quotes or open-quotes steel-frame on concrete slabclose quotes. This Report responds to the Project's request to perform the initial structural steel design for all the open-quotes steel-frame on concrete slabclose quotes buildings. Of the twelve (12) open-quotes steel-frame on concrete slabclose quotes buildings, four (4) are Level 1 and eight (8) are Level 2 Buildings. This Report is a deliverable for the ITER Task Assignment entitled open-quotes ITER Buildings Design (D230-B)close quotes, also designated as Task No. 28. [en] This research is computer modeling and used 3DSTUDIO RELEASE 4.0 as computer graphics Software and data of Ongkharak Nuclear Research Center Project which many building and facilities. The research works used pentium 100S microprocessor with 64 MB RAM, 4.2 GB Hard disk and 3D-Monitor card with 4 MB RAM.
