AbstractAbstract
[en] The systematic behavior of β2 values with respect to the parameter P=NpNn/(Np+Nn) is examined, and it is found that the rate of increase of β2/β2 sp as a function of P is the same in all mass regions. A new method for predicting β2 values which exploits this relationship is described. This method is particularly useful for predicting β2 values in a region of well-deformed nuclei where no values have yet been measured, such as the region near 130Sm

AbstractAbstract
[en] The non-adiabatic effects which is manifested in the electric properties of low-lying states of even-even deformed nuclei are studied. A simple phenomenological model which takes into account the Coriolis mixing of and state bands. The Calculations for isotopes 170–174 Yb, are carried out. The reduced probability of electric quadrupole transitions from the states and - bands to the ground (gr) state band is calculated and non adiabatic effect is discussed. The ratio of E2– transitions RIK from , , , and bands are calculated and compared with the experimental data. (paper)

AbstractAbstract
[en] In this paper, we study odd-A nuclei. To do this study we use the controlled single particle concept which involves an even-even core and a single particle that is controlled by the core. Assuming that the core can be expressed by the γ-rigid Bohr Hamiltonian for we want to study such a system. Therefore, the Hamiltonian of the odd-A nucleus is constructed then eigenfunction and eigenvalues related to the system are derived. To examine the results, 189Ir has been considered as an experimental candidate for our study. Theoretical predictions of energy rates and B(E2) transition rates are compared with experimental reports. The results show a good agreement with experimental data.

AbstractAbstract
[en] The authors calculate the E2 and M3 transition amplitudes for the decay of the singlet D sate to the triplet S state of charmonium using a nonsingular quarkonium potential model. They find that the E2 and M3 amplitudes are much larger than the M1 amplitude, and the results are very different from that calculated by using a potential which has singular terms

AbstractAbstract
[en] Theoretical predictions suggest the presence of tetrahedral symmetry as an explanation for the vanishing intra-band E2 transitions at the bottom of the odd-spin negative-parity band in 156Gd. The present study reports on experiment performed to address this phenomenon. It allowed to remove certain ambiguities related to the intra-band E2 transitions in the negative-parity bands to determine the new inter-band transitions and reduced probability ratios B(E2)/B(E1) and, for the first time, to determine the experimental uncertainties related to the latter observable.

AbstractAbstract
[en] The nuclear chart of the nuclei contains the light mass region having atomic mass A ≥ 100, medium mass region having mass between 100 < A < 200 and high mass region A >200. The Grodzins relation between the energy of spin Iπ = 2+ E(2+1) and the electro- magnetic transition probability B(E2) to be a constant. The data of transition probability B(E2) was compiled by Stelson et. al.

AbstractAbstract
[en] Full text : It is known that the ratio of the intensities of electromagnetic transitions within and between rotational states is performed Algae rules. Implementation of this rule indicates that the wave functions of these levels are not a component of the impurity states of the neighboring. Rules of Alagi are not satisfied for the E2 component of electromagnetic transitions in the nuclear 155Sm.
