AbstractAbstract
[en] We first present the recent development on an e-p collider in Europe occuring in the last year. Then a review of physics motivations for an e-p ring is discussed and developed with the latest work presented at the meeting on 'Study for an e-p Facility for Europe' held at Hamburg on April 2-3, 1979

AbstractAbstract
[en] A covariant expression for the lepton tensor is obtained in the form where the contributions of the longitudinal and transverse polarizations of a virtual photon are explicitly separated. It is shown that the degree of the linear polarization of the virtual photon is greater when the lepton mass is taken into account

AbstractAbstract
[en] In the electron-proton collider, neutral hadrons were produced in the hadronization process that occurred just after the electron-proton collision. The neutral hadrons were produced at interaction point using reference energy from its center-of-mass. In this paper, we discuss the kinematics of particles produced from its center-of-mass and the hadronization process follows after such collision. (author)

AbstractAbstract
[en] The existing inclusive electroproduction data base allows the authors a look at the issue of the relative behaviors of background and resonance excitations, a part of the Bloom-Gilman duality. These data lack accuracy at high Q2 but establish PQCD scaling in the resonance region and even allow the authors a glimpse at the leading logarithmic corrections due to the gluon radiation and its possible quenching at large W and x. These should inspire better quality experimental tests at facilities like CEBAF II

AbstractAbstract
[en] The data-taking phase of the Qweak experiment ended in May of 2012 at the Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility. Qweak aims to measure the weak charge of the proton, Qp W , via parity-violating elastic electron-proton scattering. The expected value of Qp W is fortuitously suppressed, which leads to an increased sensitivity to physics beyond the Standard Model.
