AbstractAbstract
[en] A system of three charged bosons confined in a harmonic trap has been investigated by an exact diagonalization. We report a calculation for the energy spectrum of the low-lying states of a system of three charged bosons. The important feature of the low-lying states of three charged bosons in a harmonic trap is obtained via an analysis of the energy spectrum.

AbstractAbstract
[en] If the energy spectrum of an external invariant state ω is not the whole real line, it is shown that ω is either pure or uniquely decomposed into mutually disjoint pure states in a particular way. Next the author gives a slightly generalized version of Borchers' theorem on the innerness of some automorphism group of a von Neumann algebra with a spectrum condition. (Auth.)

AbstractAbstract
[en] The hypothetic very short, strong γ–laser pulses can lead to sub–threshold emission of protons. The energy spectra of emitted protons can give information on temporal structure of the process. One should observe the time interference phenomenon changing structure of the proton energy spectra. The description is done within the projection evolution approach to quantum mechanics. (author)

AbstractAbstract
[en] A quantitative analysis of the impedance of nonideal heterojunctions was carried out taking into consideration the effects of series resistance, shunt resistance, parasitic inductance and electrically active interface traps. A new approach is proposed to determine the energy distribution of surface state density and to calculate the actual value of barrier capacitance of heterojunctions on the basis of the analysis of their complex impedance–voltage characteristics. AbstractAbstract
[en] The solar origin of a fraction of cosmic rays with energies up to 109 eV is established during the discussion of the galactic or extragalactic origin of cosmic radiation. The origin of the majority of cosmic rays is, however, unknown. Information on the possible origin is gained from energy spectra and directional anisotropy measurements. From the composition of radiation its age can be well determined as illustrated by examples. The ''breaks'' in the energy spectra are interpreted by a decrease in trapping time. Propagation of very high energy particles, above 1017 eV is characterized by mechanisms other than diffusion while those above 1019 eV are insensitive to magnetic fields and travel along straight paths. AbstractAbstract
[en] We present a thorough pedagogical analysis of the single particle localization phenomenon in a quasiperiodic lattice in one dimension. Beginning with a detailed derivation of the Aubry–André Hamiltonian we describe the localization transition through the analysis of stationary and dynamical observables. Emphasis is placed on both the properties of the model and technical aspects of the performed calculations. In particular, the stationary properties investigated are the inverse participation ratio, the normalized participation ratio and the energy spectrum as a function of the disorder strength. Two dynamical quantities allow us to discern the localization phenomenon, being the spreading of an initially localized state and the evolution of population imbalance in even and odd sites across the lattice. The present manuscript could be useful in bringing advanced undergraduate and graduate students closer to the comprehension of localization phenomena, a topic of current interest in fields of condensed matter, ultracold atoms and complex systems. AbstractAbstract
[en] In the present work, we apply the exact quantization condition, introduced within the framework of Padgett and Leacock's quantum Hamilton–Jacobi formalism, to angular and radial quantum action variables in the context of the Hartmann and the ring-shaped oscillator potentials which are separable and non-central. The energy spectra of the two systems are exactly obtained. (paper)

AbstractAbstract
[en] In order to overcome the limitations of the original expression of the probability distribution appearing in literature of Incomplete Statistics, a new expression of the probability distribution is derived, where the Lagrange multiplier β introduced here is proved to be identical with that introduced in the second and third choices for the internal energy constraint in Tsallis' statistics and to be just equal to the physical inverse temperature. It is expounded that the probability distribution described by the new expression is invariant through uniform translation of the energy spectrum. Moreover, several fundamental thermodynamic relations are given and the relationship between the new and the original expressions of the probability distribution is discussed.
