AbstractAbstract
[en] The device comprises a common gamma source, located on one side of the concrete block to be examined on the opposite side, a detecting unit comprising a collimator and a photo-multiplier detector connected to a display unit and moving along rails parallel to the concrete block face. That device is used for displaying concrete defects in particular injection deficiencies in the pre-stress sheaths of concrete used for the building of bridges or tunnels

AbstractAbstract
[en] The apparatus and a method for the inspection of tubes in a steam generator include a film-bearing cassette probe insertable into a target tube to a predetermined region to be inspected and a source of radiation, preferably a radioisotope, insertable into a tube adjacent the target tube to a position laterally adjacent the region to be inspected on the target tube. The cassette probe is sufficiently flexible to transit regions of tight tube curvature. 8 claims, 12 drawing figures

AbstractAbstract
[en] A device is suggested for defectoscopy based upon gamma-translucency. The defectoscope involves a protective container with a curvilinear channel for the radiation source and a flexible directing ampule conductor with a rope. At the end of the rope there is an ampule with the radiation source and a drive for the rope displacement along the conductor. To reduce the displacement force the defectoscope has a vibration device, which supplies low frequency oscillations to the moving rope in the plane normal to the displacement direction. The scheme of the rope displacement drive is given

AbstractAbstract
[en] Because of its practical aspect digital radiography is more and more used in the industrial sector. There are 2 kinds of digital radiography. First, the 'computed radiography' that uses a photon-stimulated screen, and after radiation exposure this screen must be read by an analyser to get a digit image. The second type is the 'direct radiography' that allows one to get a digit radiograph of the object directly. Digital radiography uses the same radioactive nuclides as radiography with silver films: cobalt, iridium or selenium. The spatial resolution of digital radiography is less good than with classical silver film radiography but digital radiography offers a better visual contrast. (A.C.)

AbstractAbstract
[en] Described is the design and performance of a 40 channel gamma defectoscope. Each channel includes a radiation defector, recording unit and a self recorder. The apparatus operates automatically according to signals from the control unit on the basis of analogo-numerical circuit-technique. A logarithmic regime of tarningin of the photoelectron multiplier FEhU-82 is used
