[en] Azerbaijan is one of the countries which has natural resources and is rich in the mineral underground water. At present, the thermal energy (45 degree C - 94 degree C) of these sources is not used. In this article, the content of radionuclides in the samples of thermal water taken from the Goranboy region was studied. The result shows that the radioactivity in the sample of water is less than the permissible limit and the studied underground water source does not pose a threat in terms of radioactivity when using.

[en] The invention deals with gamma-spectrometry and it can be used in small-channel gamma-spectrometers intended for determination of concentration of radioactive elements in different media (for example, in rocks). The gamma-spectrometer comprises amplitude analyzer, at least one main detector of gamma-radiation and an additional detector of gamma-radiation. The purpose of the invention is simplification of the equipment and increase of measuring accuracy.
