AbstractAbstract
[en] The homothetical transformation is used to establish a Hamiltonian function which is homogenous in a new set of variables. The order of the problem can then be reduced without introducing an arbitrary constant. The reduced system is no longer a Hamiltonian system but a contact system

AbstractAbstract
[en] We construct static self-gravitation many-body systems in Einstein gravity. The configurations considered are deformations of static rigid-body systems, with multiple components, in Newtonian gravity. The conditions under which such systems can be constructed are analyzed and examples are given.

AbstractAbstract
[en] This is a review of selected research topics from the field of many-body scattering theory; the work reviewed is chosen mainly from that of the past two years. The emphasis is on a qualitative description, and the areas covered are: interdisciplinary applications, formal and mathematical developments, controversies, and open questions. (orig.)
