AbstractAbstract
[en] For finite element calculations of high temperature components a continuous description of the creep behaviour in the material's whole field of application is required. For several long term tested heats of steels 2.25 Cr-1 Mo, 1 Cr-1 Mo-0.5 Ni-0.25 V and 12 Cr-1 Mo-0.3 V creep equation were established. They contain the initial plastic strain as well as the primary-, secondary- and tertiary-creep strain and are valid in the interesting range of temperature, stress and time for these steels. The test results are well interpreted by the correspondent values calculated according to the creep equations. Additionally, an equation of the recovery strain is proposed. Moreover, the creep equations can be applied to incremental calculations with true strain and true stress and in a certain extent, a transformation of the creep equations to similar steels seems to be possible. AbstractAbstract
[en] The present paper mainly deals with hot extrusion-rolling processing characteristics of Molybdenum (Moly) seamless tubes (Mo, Mo-O,5Ti, TZM). Metallic Moly is consolidated by powder-metallurgy process (P/M). The Moly powder is pressed into a rod by isostatic pressing, sintered at high temperature (in pure hybrogen or vacuum), and the resulting billet is hot extrusion-rolling worked into useful tubes. Moly can also be consolidated by the consumable electrode vacuum-arc casting (VAC) process and by the vacuum electronic beam casting (VBC) process. Moly billet continously melted to fill a water cooled ingot mold. The resulting ingot is hot extrusing-rolling worked in several stages into seamless Moly tubes. 3 figs., 7 tabs. (Author)

AbstractAbstract
[en] A model is presented for magnetoacoustic emission (MAE) and magnetic Barkhausen emission (HBN) during incipient creep damage stages in Cr-Mo steel. The model qualitatively reproduces the peak in HBN intensity as one goes through the early incipient stages, and also qualitatively reproduces the strong decrease in MAE intensity through all the incipient stages, leading to over a 50% decrease
