AbstractAbstract
[en] The sources of copper have been determined by studying trace elements osmium and rhenium as well as osmium isotope ratio in copper-bearing porphyry of Chuquicamata, el Teniente and Andacollo and in the stratiform copper deposits of Mantos Blancos, El Soldado, Cerro Negro and Talcuna

[en] Claims in a recent paper by Wu et al. [Phys. Rev. C 64, 014307 (2001)] for the γγ character of Kπ=4+ bands are based on a flawed argument. A paper they do not cite has explained this weakness in detail, and concluded a dominant g boson or hexadecapole structure is required to explain other data inconsistent with the γγ description

AbstractAbstract
[en] Osmium isotopes in the natural isotopic mixture are separation by gas centrifuge technology. OsO4 is chosen as the process gas. The relationship γij=γ0ΔAij is verified by experiments using a single centrifuge, and the real value of γ0 is obtained by fitting. Based on this, a four-stage cascade is degigned to separate 192Os. The results show that the abundance of 192Os is more than 99%. (authors)

AbstractAbstract
[en] The second part of the book is dedicated to the 100-anniversary of academician K.I.Satpaev. It is opened out by the paper on genetic classification of petroleums of the Caspian basin and their forecast. The group of papers are devoted to new types of gold containing ores in Kazakhstan. In other papers rare earths, rhenium and osmium, titanium, iron, manganese, aluminium of Kazakhstan are characterized. Stratiform copper deposits metallogeny and condition of formation of Zhezkazgan deposit ores are discussed, metallogenic stages of the Earth evolution are considered

AbstractAbstract
[en] The neutron induced reaction cross section of eleven stable isotopes of Platinum and Osmium i.e. 192Pt(n,α)189Os, 194Pt(n,α)191Os, 195Pt(n,α)192Os, 196Pt(n,α)193Os, 198Pt(n,α)195Os 184Os(n,α)181W, 187Os(n,α)184W, 188Os(n,α)185W, 189Os(n,α)186W, 190Os(n,α)187W and 192Os(n,α)189W have been calculated by using software TALYS 1.4 in the energy range between 13MeV to 15MeV. The present situation of (n, α) reaction cross section data for the energy region just below and above the 14MeV threshold region is important for reactor technology but as of now it is still extremely little and discrepant. Thus, the precise cross- sections of all kinds of nuclear reactions are very important and necessary. The result obtained has been compared with several experimental values taken from EXFOR data file and the updated evaluated data file of ROSFOND-2010, JEFF-3.2 and JENDL-4.0. (author)

AbstractAbstract
[en] The results of studies on rhenium content in Kazakhstan ores and the radiogenic osmium grade in them initiated under guiding by K.I. Satpaev are outlined. In rich rhenium containing ores of Zhezkazgan there is from 0.04 up to 2.4 g/t osmium under Os/Re=1:400-1:450. Copper concentrate contains 0.05-0.07 g/t osmium. Osmium separated from such products contains on 99.2-99.6% of 187 Os isotope and it presents almost pure mono isotope no demands following separation. It is underlined, that Kazakhstan falls to the world richest regions of rhenium and radiogenic osmium resources

AbstractAbstract
[en] The role of supersymmetries in physics is discussed. These symmetries change bosons into fermions and viceversa. The first experimentally observed example of a dynamic supersymmetry is presented. This example occurs in the spectra of nuclei in the Os-Pt region. (orig.)
