AbstractAbstract
[en] The philosophy of the Best Pade Approximant (BPA) problem is presented by means of some examples. After that, the numerical algorithms of choice of the BPA from the finite triangular Pade table, some theoretical results and some encouraging results of application of these algorithms to no justified theoretically cases are described

AbstractAbstract
[en] The quantities calculated by P. Wynn's Epsilon-algorithm are values of Pade's approximants at a precise point of the complex plane. As a result the properties of the Pade approximants must have repercussions on the properties of the Epsilon-algorithm. However where the convergence theory is concerned this relationship has never been established. The purpose of the present note is to fill in this gap

[en] Once it is observed that there exists an Anti-Baker Algorithm (A.-B.A.) it is an obvious task to modify Longman Algorithm (L.A.) to diminish an amount of calculations to get a desired approximant

[en] A reformulation of rational approximants to holomorphic function in Csup(n) is given. A convergence theorem providing the multidegree of convergence for (μ, 1)-approximants under certain restrictions is discussed. (author)

AbstractAbstract
[en] Theorems are discussed which indicate that while convergence in measure is the best that can be proved for the sequence as a whole, there is much more to be said about subsequences. It is concluded that the Pade conjecture remains today unproved and uncontradicted. (U.S.)

AbstractAbstract
[en] Extrapolations of the proton form factor from the space-like region are carried out by means of Pade-type approximants, using fits to the derivatives at one point as estimated from a polynomial fit to the data as well as direct least-squares fits to the data. The analysis shows that the latter method provides a much more stable extrapolation to isolated singularities. Its application to the proton form factor produces stable zeros and spectral functions indicating a large rho contribution. (author)
