AbstractAbstract
[en] Preliminary results of neutron diffraction experiments on Ni-P and Co-P amorphous alloys are discussed. Scattering data for Ni-P have been recorded up to Ksub(max)=30. It is shown that a new extension of the interference function should not provide significant contribution to the Ni-P R.D.F. First details on the P atom distribution are given by using the reversion of the scattering amplitude ratios for Co and P atoms in X-rays and neutrons diffraction patterns

AbstractAbstract
[en] The work is carried out on Z 6 CN 18-10 steels with P concentrations in the range of 0.004 to 0.127%, to examine intercrystalline corrosion, pitting corrosion and cavern corrosion. It is concluded that a slight increase in the P content above 0.04% is compatible with an acceptable corrosion behaviour

AbstractAbstract
[en] Experimental results are presented for the thermal conductivity of P-doped Si over the concentration range 2.5x1014 to 1.1x1018cm-3 in the temperature region 1.5-50K. In the low concentration range, phonon scattering by isolated P donors is very weak in contrast with tnat by Group-V donors in Ge and Li donor in Si. This is due to the large valley orbit splitting of the P donor ground state. For samples with donor concentrations higher than 4.7x1017cm-3, thermal resistance becomes larger than that predicted by a simple theory on the basis of phonon scattering by a single donor center. In this concentration range, thermal conductivity has the temperature dependence T to the n at low temperature (T<=10K)

AbstractAbstract
[en] The thermal conductivity of P-doped Si was investigated in the concentration range 2.5x1014 to 1018cm-3. It is shown that, in the low concentration region, the phonon scattering by isolated donors is weak and a theory can fairly explain the experimental data, while in the concentration region higher to 4.7x1017cm-3, the thermal resistance becomes larger than that predicted by the theory

AbstractAbstract
[en] A mechanism of intergranular embrittlement in phosphorus-containing steels and methods for eliminating embrittlement are considered. It is noted that the presence of carbide-forming elements in the solid solution inhibits the phosphorus atom diffusion and prevents the formation over the grain boundaries of phosphorus segregations which could weaken the boundary strength. Heat treatment conditions are described as well, which prevent either the formation of phosporus segregations or produce the structure with the boundary strength exceeding the grain strength. A possibility is emphasized to find methods for intergranular embrittlement suppression in each particular case

AbstractAbstract
[en] There are many ways to keep safe an industrial material from corrosion attack. One is covering the piece with a layer of another material which corrosion resistance is higher to the one of the element to protect. The anticorrosion protection mechanism is achieved by the formation of a physical pore less barrier without any defects. This avoid the arrival of those agents from environment responsible of electrochemical attack. In this paper, corrosion resistance of metallic coatings over nuclear usage aluminum samples is analyzed. Our interest is aimed on nickel I phosphorous alloy coatings (Ni I P) obtained by electroless method (autocatalytic) over Al 6061 alloy samples.A comparative study is carried on with different phosphorous contents but always under 12 %.This job is completed with other nickel coating, Vitro vac 0080 (with no phosphorous content) in order to compare structures and anti corrosive properties.Besides, the comparison between mentioned materials and aluminum samples is made. The study is carried on using superficial characterization of each sample with or without coating through a series of complementary techniques such as chemical, electrochemical (linear sweep voltammetry, cyclic voltammetry, polarization resistance determination) and physical (scanning electronic microscopy, hardness determination) techniques. Finally, variable correlation is made as a function of the phosphorous content in the samples used in the experiences. The coating structure obtained is amorphous. It presents no pore or failure and its hardness shows important values. The electrochemical analysis allows to check that anti corrosive protection capacity of Ni-P alloy increases with the phosphorous content in the coat. Al 6061 by itself demonstrate an electrochemically bad behaviour.Substrate I coating adherence is very good

AbstractAbstract
[en] A diffusion silicon pool alpha detector for measuring solution alpha activities is described. The sensitive detector surface makes contact with the liquid but the signal does not depend on its electric conductivity. The production process of the detector with the p-n transition formed as a result of phosphorous diffusion is described. The given detectors have more stable characteristics in comparison with the surface-barrier detectors. They can be used for determination of the α-active element concentrations in an electric conductive and a non-conductive media
