AbstractAbstract
[en] The mechanisms of pion production in the reaction π+p → π+π+n are studied using a theory with broken chiral symmetry. The parameter ξ = -0.11 ± 0.11. It is shown that the contribution of the Δ-isobar mechanism must be taken into account even for energies close to the threshold of this reaction. 9 refs., 5 figs

AbstractAbstract
[en] The π+-H and π+-D elastic scattering excitation functions for theta π = 1800 were measured between 130 and 280 MeV kinetic energy. The π+D results show some evidence for a structure in the vicinity of 250 MeV which could be due to a dibaryon resonance formation. (orig.)

[en] The paper presents the program of the polarization-parameter P measurement in elastic π+ interaction in the second resonance region at backward pion scattering. The goal of the program is determination of the bifurcation points of the pion-nucleon amplitude-zero trajectories and, thus, unambiguous reconstruction of the πN-scattering amplitude in the second resonance region. The experiments are proposed to be performed at the beam of ITEP (Moscow) accelerator
