AbstractAbstract
[en] The commissioning of the Kalkar nuclear power station is in the final phase of non-nuclear setting to work and after obtaining authorisation, should be continued by loading the fuel elements and then, after a further authorisation stage, loading the reactor, zero power tests and load tests. The non-nuclear setting to work tests were carried out first as purely electrical, measurement, control and process technology tests of the individual systems. In a further stage, the tests of the individual systems were run through. In parallel with this, tests spreading beyond one system were being increasingly done in the plant. (orig./HP)

(orig./HP)Original Title

AbstractAbstract
[en] Eight SLOWPOKE-2 research reactors are in operation, with the latest one installed at RMC in October, 1985, with a 20% U-235 enriched core. Several differences in operational capability have been noted, in comparison with the previous SLOWPOKE-2's which have fully-enriched fuel. With differences also in the physical installation of the reactor, there are intended some unique uses for this Facility

AbstractAbstract
[en] Fugen is a 165 MW(E) prototype heavy water reactor which uses uranium-plutonium mixed oxide (MOX) fuel. Site construction started at Tsuruga in the Fukui-prefecture in December 1970, and the plant went into commercial operation in March 1979. This paper covers the commissioning during the period from the initial fuel loading to the commencement of commercial operation, and describes commissioning approaches used in Fugen with special emphasis on planning, organization, programme management and some features on commissioning techniques

AbstractAbstract
[en] The new research reactor named the Kijang Research Reactor (KJRR) project in Korea aims to increase self-sufficiency in terms of medical and industrial radioisotope supply, to enlarge the supply of NTD (Neutron Transmutation Doping) silicon, and to make up the advanced technology related to research reactor. As a major national project for nuclear science and engineering in Korea, this project has been officially started on Apr. 2012 funded by the Government and Local Governments, Kijang-Gun and Busan City, that accommodate this facility in their land. It has a six year project schedule from the design to commissioning just before starting normal operation in 2018. (author)
