AbstractAbstract
[en] This note describes, after a short summary of the relevant theoretical formulae, the spherical optical model code SCAT2. This code is highly modular and employs recent numerical methods, in particular for the Coulomb functions calculations. The amount of input data is kept minimal in order to make use of the program extremely simple. The listing and some test cases are given in the appendix. The code is being extensively used in the field of nuclear evaluation

AbstractAbstract
[en] The SPACE structured/staggered mesh system is based on the orthogonal hexahedral shape of cell and its surrounding faces. All of the geometric quantities are described in terms of cell volume, centroid, face area, and face center, so that 1-D pipe, 3-D Cartesian, and cylindrical mesh systems can be expressed in the same manner. In this paper, simple algebraic ways to generate the component-wise block meshes are described. In addition, a methodology to construct complex system by connecting the already generated block meshes is demonstrated

AbstractAbstract
[en] The work is dedicated to configuration files processing in software package Sonix+. The work contains a list of software data processing drawbacks and their solutions. The structure of configuration files was formalized and the model providing editing of configurations files was developed during the work. The document contains logic of functions related with data processing and description of additional functions for developers.

AbstractAbstract
[en] SCALE-0 (Standardized Computer Analyses for Licensing Evaluation) is a computerprogram from Oak Rikge National Laboratory, USA. It is intended for analyses of criticality. During the test of the program a serious error was discovered. the multiplication factor, K(sub)eff, became very underestimated when BWA reactor fuel was analysed. The error is now corrected. AbstractAbstract
[en] Methods and techniques, which should make feasible the improvement of the program development and may lead to a better program quality are presented. The consideration of several approaches includes the concepts of systematic testing amongst other constructive and analytic approaches. Some existing automatic test systems are introduced, and, finally, a system for the automatic execution and evaluation of tests is designed. An outlook on future developments closes the first part. The second part of the paper describes a partial implementation of the designed system. (orig./WB)

(orig./WB)Original Title

AbstractAbstract
[en] The TMI-2 accident has initiated a new phase of safety research. It is necessary to consider severe accidents with degraded or molten core. For NRC there was a need for an improved understanding of this reactor behaviour and the 'Severe Fuel Dage Program' was initiated. Planned are in-pile experiments in PBF, NRU and ESSOR and in addition separate effects tests and results from TMI-2. The analytical component of the program is the development of different versions of the code SCDAP for the detailed analysis during severe accident transients. (Author)

(Autor)Original Title
