AbstractAbstract
[en] Cationic and neutral technetium compounds have been characterized by mass spectrometry using a variety of ionization methods. These compounds include octahedral cationic complexes containing phosphorous and arsenic ligands such as DIPHOS and DIARS and neutral complexes containing PnAO and dimethylglyoxime, DMG, or cyclohexanedione dioxime, CDO, ligands. Boronate esters incorporating methyl and butyl derivatives of the DMG and CDO dioximes represent a new class of seven-coordinate Tc radiopharmaceuticals whose characterization by mass spectrometry has not previously been described. These complexes show promise as myocardial imaging agents. (author)

AbstractAbstract
[en] A cationic lipophilic complex of technetium is disclosed wherein all of the coordination positions of the technetium atom are filled with a neutral donor atom having a pair of electrons available for forming a coordinate bond with technetium. The donor atoms are provided by target-seeking ligands or salts thereof, said ligands having the following structure of one of formulas I, II or III. Such complexes are useful for imaging heart and hepatobiliary tissues

AbstractAbstract
[en] The most commonly used radiopharmaceuticals for myocardial perfusion imaging are 201 TICI and 99m Tc-MIBI. Today they have increased application for tumor diagnostics too. Activity and effective dose of these radiopharmaceuticals that patients received according to protocols from Medical Academy, Clinical Centre Zvezdara and Institute of Oncology Sremska Kamenica are compared FROM the aspect of clinical application and radiation protection. AbstractAbstract
[en] A dinuclear, asymmetric technetium complex in which the two Tc atoms appear to be in intimate electronic communication has been synthesized and structurally characterized. The complex forms spontaneously on heating either [OCl4Tc]- or [TcCl6]2- in neat picoline. Upon standing in nonaqueous solvents, the complex undergoes a linkage isomerization reaction involving the exchange of the single equatorial picoline on one Tc and the single equatorial chloride on the second to yield the dissymmetric complex, [Cl(Pic)4Tc-O-Tc(Pic)Cl4]. AbstractAbstract
[en] A molecular mechanics (MM) force field is reported for modeling square pyramidal complexes of the Tc-(V) oxo group, which, as the 99mTc radioisotope, are important in diagnostic nuclear medicine. A novel aspect of the parametrization is the inclusion of significant barriers to rotation about the Tc-L bonds. These barriers to rotation are interpreted in terms of overlap between filled p π orbitals on the donor atoms and oxygen and d orbitals on the Tc
