AbstractAbstract
[en] Monocrystals of TlInS2 were grown, their dielectric permittivity being measured. Monocrystals of TlInS2 were grown from solution by the method of directional crystallization. Temperature dependences of dielectric permittivity (ε) for three samples of TlInS2 (curves 1-3 respectively) are presented. It is ascertained that the type of curve 1 corresponds to stoichiometric composition of TlInS2 crystals. Curves 2 and 3 correspond to nonstoichiometric composition of TlInS2 crystals. It is shown that dielectric properties of TlInS2 compound are quite sensitive to slight deviations from the composition stoichiometry. Deviation from stoichiometry of TlInS2 monocrystal composition (within homogeneity) distorts the type of ε(T) dependence

AbstractAbstract
[en] The phase equlibrium in the system Tl2S-In2S3 has been investigated by the methods of thermal, X-ray phase, and microstructure analysis and also by measuring the microhardness of the alloys. It has been established that five compounds are formed in the system. The compound TlInS2 melts congruently at 775 deg C. The other compounds melt incongruently: Tl4In2S5 at 400 deg C, TlIn3S5 at 830 deg, TlIn5S8 at 900 deg C, and Tl7In5S11 exists in the range of 400-455 deg C

AbstractAbstract
[en] Tl4S3-CdS system is studied by the methods of physico-chemical analysis, its phase diagram is built. The system is not quasibinary, it does not form intermediate phases. Four phase peritectic transformations are established. In solid state alloys of the system consist of mechanical mixtures and initial phases, that points to their stability below the solidus

AbstractAbstract
[en] This work is based on our quadrupolar interaction (QI) measurements on intercalated 2H-TaS sub(2) coumponds. As intercalating elements we used the alcalines - Li, Na, K, Cs -as well as the NH sub(3) (ammonia) and C sub(6) H sub(5) N (pyridine) molecules. The (QI) measurements were performed via the differential perturbed angular correlation (DPAC) technique, using Ta sup(181) as the probe isotope, on the hydrated and anhidrous phases of the intercalated systems. Our results happened to be in better agreement with the ionic model, one of the accepted models used to describe the intercalation process, as well as the transfered charges quantities and its distribution in the intercalated systems. And by its side the measured quantities, quadrupole interaction frequencies (QIF) and their distributions δ, contributed to support and to improve the ionic model. A strong charge dynamics between the 2H-TaS sub(2) sandwiches was observed and a relation between the (QIF) changes and amount of transfered charge (e sup(-)/Ta) was established. The attempt to specify the numerical contributions to the (QI) changes arriving from the different components of the 2H-TaS sub(2) intercalated systems put in evidence the probable orbitals involved in the systems bonds. Finally the kinetics of the intercalation process to form the 2H-TaS sub(2) (Li) sub(x) system was followed continuously by the (DPAC) measurements. (author)
