[en] The event-by-event fission model FREYA has been improved, in particular to address deficiencies in the calculation of photon observables. In this paper, we discuss the improvements that have been made and introduce several new variables, some detector dependent, that affect the photon observables. We show the sensitivity of FREYA to these variables. Finally, we then compare the results to the available photon data from spontaneous and thermal neutron-induced fission.
[en] Results of mass distributions of fission fragments from the thermal neutrons induced fission of 239Pu in the high kinetic energy region are analyzed. Our measurements state that the fission configurations corresponding to the sup(106-108)Mo fragments are the less excited. Fragmentations of odd and even masses are equally distributed. Different interpretations of these results are compared
