AbstractAbstract
[en] The reaction 48Ti(p,γ)49V has been studied at proton energies 1.387 MeV and 1.564 MeV and the isobaric spins of these resonances are determined. The results are yet inconclusive. (A.K.)

AbstractAbstract
[en] The study of Gamow-Teller (GT) transition strengths is important tool to study structure of atomic nuclei. The study of astrophysical phenomena like supernovae explosions and nucleosynthesis GT transition strength values used as input. The experimental GT-strength for the transition from TZ= +2 nucleus 48Ti to TZ= +1 nucleus 48V in the 48Ti(3He, t)48V charge-exchange reaction is available. In the present work we have calculated GT-strengths from ground state of 48Ti to the different excited states of 48V using two different GXPF1A and KB3G effective interactions

AbstractAbstract
[en] Excitation Russian Federation functions of 3He-induced nuclear reactions producing 43,44m,46,47,48Sc, 48V, 48,49,51Cr were measured up to 36 MeV bombarding energy by using the stacked-foil technique on different medium-energy accelerators. The results were compared with the data (cross-section, thick-target yield, activity-distribution functions,...) from the literature, model calculations and other measurements. Earlier measurements at higher energies up to 135 MeV are also plotted to complete the database for 3He-reactions on natural Ti. The new experimental and literature data were compared with the predictions of different model calculations for the 48V producing reactions. The selected experimental data sets were fitted using different methods to obtain recommended values. The measurements and compilation proved, that the 3He induced reactions on natural titanium, especially those leading to 48V and 48Cr are especially useful for monitoring, for activation analysis and for Thin Layer Activation (TLA) purposes. Production of 48V as a radiotracer is also recommended

AbstractAbstract
[en] Threshold detectors generally use elemental titanium rather than isotopically enriched samples necessitating the evaluation of all the (n,p), (n,np), and (n,d) reactions of the major contributing isotopes separately. 49Ti and 50Ti are not dealt with here since they are both approximately 5 percent abundant and have small cross sections. The (n,np), (n,pn) and (n,d) reactions are lumped together and called (n,np). The energy range is divided into three regions. Region I is that of threshold to 7 MeV, Region II, 7 to 12 MeV and Region III, 12 to 20 MeV

Nuclear physics at GANIL. A compilation 1994-19951996
AbstractAbstract
[en] An original experiment has been performed at GANIL, using the SPEG spectrometer, in order to measure precisely pairs of protons at very small relative momentum in order to extract space-time characteristics of emitting sources produced in heavy ion collisions. The reaction 129Xe+48Ti has been investigated. The experiment and the results are described. (K.A.)

AbstractAbstract
[en] Amplitude and width correlations were determined for three decay channels for 30 3/2+ resonances in 49V. Singles and coincidence measurements were employed in this first determination of relative signs of decay amplitude for 3/2+ resonances. Very large amplitude and width correlations are observed.
