AbstractAbstract
[en] This list is a compilation of the references of publications resulting from the SERC supported neutron beam scattering programme, covering the period 1978-1983. The listing, prepared at the request of the Neutron Beam Research Committee, is updated annually to include all publications made in the preceding five academic years. In Part I publications are listed under the names of principal investigators of University teams. Part II shows, for completeness, publications involving members of the Neutron Division (ND) at the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory. Since the programmes of ND members are mainly collaborations with University teams, there is some overlap between Parts I and II. (author)

AbstractAbstract
[en] The Advisory Group on Ionising Radiation has a busy and challenging work programme. Its reports will be published in the Documents of the NRPB series. These may advise further research or could form the basis of formal NRPB advice. Covering the full spectrum of radiation issues at work, in public health and clinical medicine, and the environment, it should enhance the radiation advice available to NRPB. (author)

AbstractAbstract
[en] The objective of this manual is to effectively provide assistance to users so that they can perform successful experiments at Station 2.3 during their visits. In order to compile a comprehensive document, the functions of the instrument hardware and software are described in detail. Where appropriate it also contains useful information and other documentation for help and/or reference. In addition, suggestions and instructions are available to overcome problems which inevitably face the users in the performing of complex experimental tasks. This document can provide help as part of the overall user support facility, and it is therefore intended that the manual is readily available in hard copy as well as in electronic form. (author)
