Maraging steel - highest strength steels with simple heat treatment for difficult application purposes

The lecture concerns the composition of the 18% NiCoMo (maraging) steels, the conversion behaviour and influence of various alloy elements, thermal treatment and its influence on the change of dimension behaviour; comparison of the thermal treatment of maraging steels with tempering steels, influence of trace elements and the way of melting on the mechanical properties, advantages and disadvantages of this group of steel, introduction of newer high-strength maraging steels, their composition and mechanical properties. Der Vortrag behandelt: Zusammensetzung der 18% NiCoMo (martensitaushaertende) Staehle, Umwandlungsverhalten und Einfluss verschiedener Legierungselemente, Waermebehandlung und deren Einfluss auf das Massaenderungsverhalten; Vergleich der Waermebehandlung von martensitaushaertenden mit Verguetungsstaehlen, Einfluss von Spurenelementen und der Erschmelzungsart auf die mechanischen Eigenschaften, Vor- und Nachteile dieser Stahlgruppe, Vorstellung neuerer hoechstfester martensitaushaertender Staehle, ihre Zusammensetzung und mechanischen Eigenschaften.
