Positron camera with high-density avalanche chambers
- 1. Zentralinstitut fuer Kernforschung, Rossendorf (German Democratic Republic)
Description
The results of an extensive investigation of the properties of high-density avalanche chambers (HIDAC) are presented. This study has been performed in order to optimize the layout of HIDAC detectors, since they are intended to be applied as position sensitive detectors for annihilation radiation in a positron emission tomograph being under construction.
