[en] The main results of the investigations and development of UO₂ fuel and fuel pins obtained in βoris ''Boris Kidric'' Institute during last twelve years have been reviewed. The effects towards to be acquainted with UO₂ powders compressibility and sinterability, sintered bodies thermal expansion, electrical conductivity and microstructural properties were mentioned.
