[en] The catalytic reduction of 0,85 mol of 2-nitrofluorene-9-¹⁴C with gaseous hydrogen in the presence of triethylamine and acetanhydride and 5% palladium was investigated. The course of the reaction was controlled by thin-layer chromatography of the reaction mixture. N-oxy-2-acetyl-aminofluorene-9-¹⁴C was separated after hydrolysis from the reaction mixture with a yield of 25,3 %. Thin-layer chromatography of the residue gave 2-acetylaminofluorene-9-¹⁴C with the yield of 25,0 %. Under changed reaction conditions, the 2-nitrofluorene-9-¹⁴C was reduced directly to 2-acetylaminofluorene-9-¹⁴C or 2-aminofluorene-9-¹⁴C with the yield of 76 % and 63 %, respectively
