AbstractAbstract
[en] The comparison of various numerical methods in their performance on standard test problems can provide a large quantity of useful information for individuals involved in the area of computational fluid dynamics. Though it is impossible to completely quantify all aspects of computer code performance, the results from various test problems can provide substantial guidance to code users in the choice of a method and to code developers in the choice of research and development areas. As a part of the International Conference on Numerical Methods in Laminar and Turbulent Flow (Swansea, Wales 1978), a series of six standard problems were developed. Results obtained from a finite element computer program for three of the test problems are presented
