AbstractAbstract
[en] Proceeding from experimental dependences of the detector counting efficiency on the collimator diameter it has been created the mathematical model of effective volume calculation of gamma radiation detection for volume sources. The model allows to optimize the geometry of the measurement, carried out with the detection scintillation unit for the solution of the given specific problem and makes possible to determine the effective volume of gamma radiation detection taking into account the collimator material transparency. The effective detection volume enables to determine the volume activity of the medium, passing through the pipeline, without sampling if the energy composition of radiation is known
