AbstractAbstract
[en] The main purpose of the investigation consists in obtaining characteristics of efficiency dependence of scintillation detector counting for full absorption peaks on the collimator diameter for gamma-quanta different energies. The counting efficiency expresses in this case the probability that gamma-quantum, radiated by the source will be detected. In case of volume sources it is more convinient to relate the counting efficiency to the volume activity and to express it in volume units. The counting efficiency therefore expresses effective volume from which 100% emitted quanta detection takes place. The measurement results confirm the advantage of using axial geometry of cylindrical radiation sources situated under the scintillator
