AbstractAbstract
[en] 32 new carbon stars have been identified in the zone with central galactic latitude b=-7 deg and galactic longitudes between l-68 deg and l=184 deg. The zone inlcudes 29 partly overlapping fields of 5 deg diameter (with central galactic longitudes of 70, 74, 78, ... 182 deg). One spectral photograph was taken of each field with the Schmidt telescope (80/120/240 cm)and the 2 deg prism (dispersion rate -1130 A/mm about Hγ). The photographs were obtained on the A600 type film with the GG5 filter subtracting the sky background. The exposure time for the zones with central longitudes from 70 deg to 98 deg was 20 min; for the others - 30 min. Carbon stars were identified by C2 absorption bands lambda5635 and 5165 A. The equatorial and galactic coordinates, spectral types, and identification charts of the new carbon stars are given. An attempt has been made to qualitatively estimate the stars belonging to R or N type
