AbstractAbstract
[en] The safety distance for Angra dos Reis Nuclear Power Plant are calculated, based on the model of the maximum credible accident for PWR power reactors and on the calculation of the dose due to hypothetical accidental release of radioactivity, using the model of radiation dispersion in the atmosphere. The safety distances for the Angra dos Reis reactors are also calculated using the model of the nine accident categories of the Rasmussen Report. The values of probability associated to each type of accident are used with the respective fractions of radiation release to the atmosphere. The soil contamination is also calculated for all the accidents considered and for several conditions of atmospheric stability, according to the model developed by Chamberlain. The program ACRA-II is used for calculation of the diffusion of radiation in the atmosphere, and the doses associated to it

Calculam-se distancias de seguranca para a Central Nuclear de Angra dos Reis baseado no modelo do Maximo Acidente Crivel para reatores PWR e no calculo de doses provocadas por liberacoes acidentais hipoteticas da radioatividade, utilizando-se o modelo de dispersao de radiacao na atmosfera. Faz-se tambem , o calculo das distancias de seguranca para os reatores de Angra do Reis utilizando-se o modelo das novas categorias de acidentes do relatorio Rasmussen. Os valores das probabilidades associadas a cada tipo de acidentes sao utilizadas com as respectivas fracoes de liberacoes de radiacao para a atmosfera. Calcula-se tambem, a contaminacao do solo para todos acidentes considerados, e para varias condicoes de estabilidade atmosferica, segundo o modelo desenvolvido por Chamberlain.
