AbstractAbstract
[en] A method is proposed for production of beams of fast neutral particles with a specified energy distribution, based on the transformation of ions into neutral atoms on a gas target in a stopping electric field and the energy analysis of secondary products of charge exchange. A device is described which makes it possible to obtain a stationary non-monoenergetic beam of neutral particles and realize a contactless control of the shape of the spectrum. Energy distributions for the H0 beam in the range of 1-9 keV for various stopping voltages and the potential distributions over the length of a charge-exchange chamber are given. The distributions obtained are compared with the numerical ones
