AbstractAbstract
[en] A considerable polarization (up to 38%) of the low temperature luminescence of the 1B2 - 1A1 transforma on of NO2- ions in CsBr and Cs J crystals is detected. The ion plane position on the crystal plane (100) and ion symmetry axis direction along > 100 < are determined by investigation of Raman spectra on intramolecular vibrations and the form of luminescence polarization angular dependence. The dependence of radiation polarization degree decrease with the temperature permits to single out 2 different reorientation processes in the excited electron state
