[en] The 'field theoretical' approach to the NN interaction with the stress on the OBE-potentials is mainly described. Other approaches are occassionally discussed. The potentials available are taken into consideration. From this comparison all approaches for which no decent comparison with the experimental data is made are excluded. (author)
