[en] Proton-nucleus interactions have been studied in nuclear emulsion exposed to the Serpukhov accelerator 70 GeV proton beam and to the CERN 24 GeV and 22.6 GeV proton beams. The average charged particle multiplicities are found to be 5.89 +- 0.01, 4.20 +- 0.20, and 3.70 +- 0.40, respectively. Distribution of the data indicates the validity of Poisson law at 24 GeV and Wang 1 model at 70 GeV. No definite conclusion has been reached regarding the power law distribution and logarithmic distribution. (Auth.)
