AbstractAbstract
[en] Presented are the results of calorimetric studying the temperature effect on the reaction of interaction of Zr(4) with ethylenediaminotetraacetic acid at 15 and 35 deg C and ionic strength equal to 2.3 and 3.7. Changes of entropy, enthalpy and heat capacity have been calculated in the process of the formation of ethylenediaminotetraacetate complex of Zr(4). A considerable positive entropy change is observed in the process of complexing. The relationship between heat effect and temperature is linear. When ionic strength is zero and temperature is 35.15 de.g C, enthalpy, entropy and heat capacity are equal, respectively, to 0.35+-0.77 kcal/mol; 151.2+-0.6 cal/molxdeg; 90+-10 cal/molxdeg
