AbstractAbstract
[en] The Sr(IO3)2-HIO3-H2O system has been studied at 50 deg C to elucidate the nature of interaction of multivalent metal iodate with iodic acid. The crystallization regions of the initial components have been determined and the crystallization region of the incongruently soluble compound of Sr(IO3)2xHIO3xH2O has been isolated. The individuality of the compound has been confirmed by the X-ray diffraction method and by thermogr phy. The lattice parameters have been determined: a=6.43 A; b=8.25 A; c=12.2 A; α=84 deg; β=74.6 deg; γ=67.1 deg
