AbstractAbstract
[en] To determine the regularities of the nitrogen solution and behaviour during pure iron melting, the effect of alloying elements (Cr,Ni) has been investigated. The process of the nitrogen interaction during Fe-Cr alloy remelting with Cr content from 0 to 20% has been studied. The effect of increase in chromium content on nitrogen solubility under pressure of Psub(N2) = 5-200 torr has been established. Main values, characterizing the process of nitrogen absorption are determined, as well as the influence of niobium (0,5-2,7%) content upon nitrogen absorption during remelting. The results obtained are compared with the data, received in the case of Fe-C alloy plasma-arc melting. The results permit to determine more accurately technological procedures for vacuum-arc melting of various steels in the nitrogen atmosphere
