AbstractAbstract
[en] A method is described for determining the magnetic and the phonon component of the relative variation in resistance of iron and nickel to 50 Hz current in hydrogen atmosphere. It is shown that the variation of Ni resistance under hydrogen is due only to variations of the magnetic component, the phonon component being constant over the whole range of temperatures studied. The electric resistance of iron changes only near the Curie point, the phonon component also remaining constant. The increase in the magnetic component indicates that annealing in hydrogen (pressure of 1 atm, t = 900 deg C) improves the magnetic properties of the materials
