AbstractAbstract
[en] The compacting of fine tungsten powders containing particles of lanthanum oxide is investigated. Lanthanum oxide was introduced by mechanical mixing of initial components followed by coprecipitation from the solution. It is shown in conventional steel press moulds the tungsten powders are pressed unsatisfactorily. The use of an elastic case enables to obtain defect-free compacts. The effects of the lanthanum oxide content and technique of its introduction on compacts density are found
