AbstractAbstract
[en] Under gamma irradiation of meristematic root cells of field bean sprouts Vicia faba synchronized by cultivation in White growth medium without saccharobiose the 3H timidine incorporation into cell nuclei being beyond the replicative synthesis stage has been found. A number of weakly labelled cells was the largest after 10 and 50 kR irradiation and decreased after 100 kR irradiation. The effect remained under preirradiation cell treatment with oxyurea. Caffeine-the inhibitor of the DNA reparation synthesis-inhibited 3H timidine incorporation. The results obtained permit to believe, that in plant cells there is unscheduled DNA synthesis, qualitatively similar to the reparation DNA synthesis in mammal cells
