AbstractAbstract
[en] The dose field formed during harmonic oscillations of an isotropic source in a tissue-equivalent medium is studied. The results of the study are compared with the dose distributions from a linear source with a uniformly distributed activity. As follows from the comparison of the dose distributions, for the cylindrical irradiated object and for harmonic oscillations of an isotropic source the more uniform dose distribution along the cylinder generatrices is ensured if their radii are less than or equal to 0.6 than in the case of a linear source
