AbstractAbstract
[en] The justification of the isotope selection for the time measurement systems based on the use of radioactive disintegration, is given. The results of an experimental study of systems based on 137Cs and 88Y and characterized by a finite time of resolution of systems ''source-detector-scaler'' are presented; for the best scalers the resolution time can be 10-6. The law of distribution of time intervals is studied in the process of experiment, depending on the activity of the source, the isotope half-life, the division coefficient of the scaler. It is demonstrated that the increase of the accuracy of time measurements is limited
