AbstractAbstract
[en] The thermal mobility of sodium ions has been determined in various quartz materials at temperatures up to 1400 0C, using 24Na as a tracer. Application of a special grinding technique allowed to determine the depth distribution of sodium ions with the aid of autoradiographic methods. On the basis of the density distribution the diffusion coefficients and the activation energy of the sodium diffusion have been calculated. (author)
